This morning, Devo, Frankie and I talked Carry-On Luggage. With Breakfast Television heading on a Disney Cruise tomorrow, the guys prepared with a packing challenge in their AWAY suitcases. SPOILER ALERT: Frank won.
But seriously, with the price of checked luggage skyrocketing and so many airport staff shortages, now more than ever, it makes sense to travel with a carry-on only. Fitting all of your things in a carry-on may sound impossible but with a few tricks and tips, you can have everything you need in just one case.
Also remember that you have a carry on AND a personal item so you can bring the case and a back pack.
Pre-Packing Tips
- Check the weather
- Call ahead to see what amenities your accommodation offers (Hair dryer? Laundry?)
- Use packing cubes + roll your clothes
- Pick a colour scheme so you can layer all of your items
- Choose versatile clothes that are also comfortable
- Change up your outfits with accessories
- Roll smaller items like socks and underwear and put them in your shoes
