Cruises are a great way to see a new city. Whether it is a cruise along Le Seine, the Thames or Lake Ontario, a great deal of landmarks are situated along the water. Although this particular cruise had a family friendly DJ instead of a tour guide, I have been on European river day cruises that highlight the history of a city, areas to explore as well as fun sports, food and culture facts. 
From drinks on the top deck to a delicious dinner below, we enjoyed the music, the water and most importantly, the views of our beautiful city. With the recent rise of the 6ix on the global stage, it was nice to take that time to truly appreciate the sights of magnificent city we live in. 
Mariposa Cruises has a number of boats that offer different itineraries from a Sunday brunch on the water to weddings and of course, celebrations like Father’s Day. These vessels offer scenic harbour tours, private party options as well as Sip and Sail cruises that feature a ‘Top Ten’ cocktail list and comprehensive list of wines and beers. (I look forward to one of these cruises once my baby is born!)
