While aimlessly surfing the net last night, I stumbled across a blog in which a man wrote out 12 rules that he lives by. Some of them were just not practical, such as bed at 9pm, up at 5am 7 days a week (If sleep were a job, I would definitely be the CEO of the biggest corporation). Some I could understand but I didn’t think would work in my life ie. never talking on the phone except to confirm appointments- that would never work!!! I did, however, record a few of my own rules to live by. They aren’t life changing and I generally try to live by them already, although there are some I may need reminding of at times (like drinking water…I hate water). I like to think that overall, I am a positive, happy person but I am human so sometimes my emotions get the best of me and I forget who is really in control.
In case you didn’t know, the answer is me, Natty P.
I leave on Sunday to return to the UK, sit in some lectures, hand in some essays and go on a treasure hunt round London with my sister. (So exciting!!!!) When I return to Canada, my address will have changed and I will be starting a life with my boyfriend in a NEW house that we are designing, and with the help of friends and family, also building and decorating: I have been given the title Chief Decorating Officer!!! (A blog recording this transformation will follow). I have had a revolutinary few weeks and I want to enter this new phase of my life in the best physical, mental and emotional state possible. So, without further ado, here are my 12 rules to live by. I think I will put them on my new fridge…feel free to do so also…on your fridge…
